read works
Readworks.org is now combined with Read Words Digital. Teachers can create classes, assign articles to be read, and grade the assignments. Although the answers are short answer the student can enter the answer and then the teacher has the ability to grade these answers.
To create an assignment the teacher first needs to add the article to their list. Then that article can be assigned to the entire class or individual students.
Once the assignment is completed by the students the teacher can see their responses and which students have completed the assignment with the teacher login.
Read Works is constantly adding articles. There are paired texts available too so you can help your students prepare for looking at them in preparation for the SOL tests.
If you have questions or need help getting your class set up contact your ITRT.
