malware
your computer running very slowly, but it isn't that old? Then you might have some malicious software or malware. There is a free application you can download called malwarebytes to remove it from your computer. If you have trouble getting it all removed ask Roger Ramsey or Karen Kuhn for help.
printing issues
Have you ever had problems with a print job you tried to print and keep trying to print to the same printer? More than likely your computer has lost communication with the printer and all you need to do is restart your computer. Continuing to try to print will only create more print jobs that have to print once the communication has been restored. First try restarting your computer. If the issue still isn't resolved contact Karen Kuhn or Roger Ramsey.

Other shortcuts for tasks you perform regularly are:

Control + V- Paste text, images, links, etc. that you just copied.
Control + X- Cut selected text, images, links, etc. This is more helpful than just deleting as if you cut something you didn't mean to all you hae to do is paste it again. It also helps move selected items to another location or file.

is your computer slowing down?
There could be several causes to this problem.
- The computer may need to be restarted to restore RAM memory. This is the memory your computer uses each time a program is opened. When you close the program you get some of this memory back, but not all of it until the computer is restarted.
- You may have spyware, adware or malware running on your machine. If you have software installed on your computer to look for this run it before contacting the technician assigned to your school. The software to look for these things can be spybot, adaware or malawarebytes.
